We have managed our gites for over 25 years on a 'Home-from-Home' basis and have had over 300 very satisfied guests. Many have returned 2 or 3 years running.

   Our first gite 'Les Trois Grenouilles' was our holiday home before we retired. It was an old Charante 2 bedroomed farmhouse with a small garden but large enough for a pool. It was situated in Chatillon, a small hamlet of 7 houses about 30 minutes drive from Riberac. It was very popular with our guests and was usually fully booked for the summer season by the end of February. We had many repeat bookings.

   Because of our love of the French way of life, we decided to retire early and live permanently in France. We bought 'L'arbre Albizia' a house in Badaillac. The house and garden was large enough to split into 2 so that we could have an additional gite as well as 'Les Trois Grenouilles'. The gite was popular with our guests and we were again successful in obtaining repeat bookings. Because we were now living permanently in France we realized that there was an Out-of-Season market for couples looking to buy property in the area and were able to let both properties out-of-season.

   In 2004 we sold 'Les Trois Grenouilles' and 'L'arbre Albizia' and bought 5400 square metres (1¼ acres) in Brantôme. We built a brand new house, 'Les Chênes' on the site with a separate building 'Les Petits Chênes' for use of the family when visiting or to let as a gite. We have again been successful in obtaining repeat business.

   With 25 years experience of managing our gites we understand our guests and have learned to give VALUE FOR MONEY in a 'Home-from-Home' atmosphere.
